As a long time hiker and outdoors-person, massage has been my go-to tool to help manage pain in my body after exercise and outdoor trips. It was so effective for me, I decided to become a professional bodyworker to help share the effectiveness with others. I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon, and focus on massage for pain relief as well as relaxation.
Using a specialized mix of modalities, my goal is to provide a safe space for clients seeking massage as a means of gaining holistic and lasting health. Through empathetic presence, I work to provide an effective, safe, and client-centered massage experience.
Modalities include:
Myofascial bodywork
Deep tissue techniques
Swedish massage
Neuromuscular bodywork
Cupping therapy
Lapis is a metamorphic rock that forms underground under extreme heat and pressure over time. It has long since been desired by cultures globally for its ultramarine color, and uses in healing practices and energy work.
The effects of massage on the body are a lot like lapis. Heat and pressure from massage over time can change tissues of the body, creating new patterns that can reduce tension, pain, stress, and discomfort. I work to change patterns in the body to help create long-term balance, connection, and embodiment.
